Tale of the Stalwart

lyrics

On loftiest height
In glorious sight
There stood a banner, bright

With hues of red
And hues of gold
It waved its signal bold

Standing tall
A warrior, stalwart
Leans against his sword

Having fought
The victory, bought
The bond that was his word

Now upon
Horizon, dawn
Hosts of Doom
Come with their gloom

Now he rides
With fiery eyes
Sword upheld
Demeanor fell

It is said
And so it's read
That his charge, he solely lead

And at last
The trumpet blast
Was heard across the land

And he fought
The dread horde lot
As a pillar of light

One man taking
On one hundred
Cleansing out the Blight
